Accessories by Antoinette is a team of 2 (or 4 if you include our cats who endeavour to help outside of their crucial napping segments). But I am the one who primarily manages our social media, photographs and website.

My name is Kimberley! I’m a cat lover, small business owner and artist. I started my small business journey in 2019 as a second chance at life – and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else. I'm a chronically ill craftaholic and a domestic violence survivor.

A bit about me… I have been working with polymer clay since 2017. I am a self-taught artist in polymer clay, resin and fibre arts. I have a passion for making colourful and one-of-a-kind accessories.

Without a doubt, my favourite colour is purple, but I can’t pass up a rainbow shawl or jewellery!

Virtually everything I’ve learned, throughout business and markets, has been through trial and error. I have made more mistakes than I have fingers and through these trials, found my own rhythm in the ways of our set-up and creation processes.

In these years of business, so much has happened. But I know there is still so much more to learn.

We wholeheartedly believe there is no such thing as mastering a craft – and that crafts do not need mastering. There are always areas to improve and new techniques to learn in the worlds of clay and crochet.

We have come a long way since 2019. Beginning with only a handful of polymer clay necklaces and earrings, we have expanded our shop to include magnets, plushies, shawls and so much more!

While I frequently use Facebook and Instagram for updates: it has its limits. There’s always more I want to tell but never have the space for… What better reason than to start blogging?

Every Thursday, you’ll find more of the nitty gritty good stuff. There will be behind-the-scenes details, cats and catastrophes, a look into our shop update inspiration, challenges, market experiences and more. Whether you’re debating trying out markets for yourself or just interested in the behind the scenes of our small business – we will be covering various topics.
